Xiaolin and Dalin are brothers. Mom is not at home now, so no one cooks for them, and continuing on the previous story Dalin will be cooking noodles for them. Xiaolin ate the noodle but now he got diarrhea.
This conversation will mostly cover basic vocabularies related to sickness and poison. There is a unique term here 糖鹽水 which means Oral Rehydration Salt (ORS). It is a drink made from sugar and salt, made to rehydrate the body after diarrhea.
Xiaolin walked out of the toilet. Dalin stood in front of the toilet and looked at him. Xiaolin's face looked pale.
Dalin: "Bro, are you okay?"
Xiaolin: "Not very good... I am a little tired."
Dalin; "You go to your room first, I will give you something to drink."
Xiaolin: "Do you want to poison me?"
Dalin: "No! Don't worry, your brother will not poison you."
(five minutes later)
Dalin: "Okay, the drink is ready."
Dalin gave Xiaolin the mysterious drink.
Xiaolin: "What is this? Is it poisonous?"
Dalin: "It's Oral Rehydration Salt (ORS). And there is no poison in it."
Xiaolin drank a little.
Xiaolin: "It's slightly sweet and salty."
Dalin: "Of course it's sweet and salty, it's all sugar and salt inside."
Xiaolin didn't talk, he just wanted to finish the ORS.
Xiaolin: "I have finished drinking."
Dalin: "Good, now you go sleep. And don't play with your phone."
Soon after, Xiaolin fell asleep.
