Noor was right. After the bus had gone for four-five hours, the got off there. They weren’t aware that the sky had started to get dark. They could see less and less.

After half an hour, a light slowly started to appear. Noor and Ayu said that they had come.

Six people came to pick them up. They were riding old motorcycles.

When they were getting on them, it started to drizzle.

The road to the village was all mud. On the sides, nothing but trees. They were riding on such old motorcycles, in spite of the rain.

They had been going for more than one hour, they hadn’t stopped the motorcycles, and gotten further and further into the forest. Widya wanted to ask the drivers of the motorcycles, but none of them said anything. Really weird. Does no person from this village like to speak?

The sky got darker and darker. The forest got more and more silent. Widya felt a little bit regretful. Would she be able to endure spending six months in a village deep in the forest?

Not a long time after that, Widya heard a tiny sound. That sound came closer and closer.

It was a familiar sound. There was the sound of drums, there was the sound of a gong, and there was also the sound of gamelan. There seemed to be a traditional wedding in the vicinity.

The sound of instruments gradually faded away. They saw a wooden door, welcoming them.

They had finally arrived.

“We have reached the village. There will be someone to meet with you later. We are leaving now.”

“Alright, thank you.”

And so the motorbikes got further and further away from them.

“Hey!”

A strange sound was heard next to them.

Perkataan Nur benar.

Setelah menunggu setengah jam, cahaya perlahan mulai muncul.

Mereka mengendarai sepeda motor tua.

Ketika mereka menaiki motor, hujan mulai turun.

Jalan menuju desa semuanya berlumpur.

Langit menjadi semakin gelap. Hutan semakin sunyi. Widya merasa sedikit menyesal.
